Kevin Shih

Kevin Shih is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York. He is a labor economist with a strong focus on issues related to international migration and higher education. His work has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Labor Economics, the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, and the Journal of Public Economics, and other writing has been featured in various outlets such as Science, The Wall Street Journal, and VoxEU. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Bureau of Economic Research, among other sources. He was the recipient of the National Bureau of Economics Research Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in 2014 and received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Davis in 2015.
